Granular runway deicers

Granular runway deicers are used to prevent and remove ice formations on all types of artificial airfield surfaces, as well as intra-airfield roads.
They are applied evenly to surfaces by mechanical means.
The flow rates are determined by the ambient air temperature and thickness of the ice formation.
Reagent consumption rate increases/decreases in proportion to the thickness of ice formation.
In order to reduce reagent consumption it is recommended to perform mechanical cleaning of the airfield surface from snow cover beforehand.
