Product description

«Nordway-HN» is a high quality acetate-based intermediate coolant used for various types of cooling equipment.

Its corrosion protection covers all basic metals used in cooling technologies: steel, stainless steel alloys, cast iron, brass, copper, aluminum, etc.

High thermal conductivity and heat capacity increase the beneficial effect of cold transfer, determine the need for less circulation and, consequently, provide the possibility of using smaller dimension pipes and less pump capacity.

«Nordway-HN» is best suited for replacement of calcium chloride in cooling systems.

OPERATIONAL BENEFITS

Minimal corrosion impact. Carefully selected corrosion inhibitors and stabilizers ensure longer equipment life, providing effective corrosion protection and lower maintenance costs. The corrosion impact is less than 0,1 g/m2, which is determined in accordance with GOST 28084-89.

High thermal conductivity and heat capacity increase the beneficial effect of cold transfer, determine the need for less circulation and, consequently, provide the possibility of using smaller dimension pipes and less pump capacity.

ECOLOGICAL ADVANTAGES

Not toxic or fire-hazardous. Does not cause negative impact on people and environment. Coolants «Nordway-HN» is environmentally safe and belong to the 4th class of hazard (the lowest in the classification). In case of a leakage, the period of complete decomposition under the influence of natural climatic and biological factors on environmentally friendly components does not exceed 1 month.

ECONOMIC ADVANTAGES

A set of operational advantages serves as a basis for reduced requirements to used materials and equipment, which, in its turn, makes intercooled systems less expensive and allows reducing the volume of investments of enterprises at the design stage.

Main specifications
Economic efficiency factors Justification of the economic factor
Direct savings due to low refrigerant cost The cost of the coolant is 35% lower in comparison with propylene glycol
Extension of equipment life Low corrosive activity
Reduction of costs (reduction of fines, etc.) caused by non-compliance with environmental requirements Environmentally friendly Nordway coolant
Reducing the cost of designed cooling systems Improved thermophysical properties
Opportunity to use smaller diameter pipes, smaller capacity pumps The same
Reduction of energy costs Low viscosity
Result: direct savings from switching to Nordway at least 40%
